The G2 bunch made a shopping ride to Canton on March 1, 2008. We had about 8 bike & a wonderful group of folks fixed on buying Canton Trade Days out, but really only ended up walking a multitude of miles while observing the multitude of "stuff" at First Monday.
MAN did we have fun. RB pegged it when he said "Just like New Orleans only CLEAN!" If you missed this ride, all we can say is "You Shoulda Been There!!!" Hope this becomes an annual ride. Everyone that went were SUPER to be with & Tommie should be named "LEADER OF THE YEAR" for planning this ride to perfection. In case you haven't guessed it by now...WE HAD FUN!!!
A group went to McKinney to see the movie "Bucket List" for the IBE ride of the month. It was foggy beyond reason and we decided to go in 4 wheelers. It was a great movie.
January 19, 2008 saw the Tx-G2 "Roadrunners" moving from location to location feasting heartily on food after food after food. The hostess were Pat Wilson, Judy Elliott, and Linda Harwell. A great time was had by all.
January 1, 2008 found most of the roadrunners froze out from riding the wings. There were a few brave souls that met the rest of us at the Cracker Barrel in Greenville so we could get the New Year off to a good start. There was a lot of fellowship and great food. Roady's 2008 was off to a grrrreat start.
Our year end Christmas Party was well attended by the G-2 membership. Everyone had a great time with great people who deserve great thanks for making great rides & things possible for G-2. There was food, gifts, games & fun galore. Merry Christmas G-2!
We had a good membership turnout as well as representatives from Chapter 'R' to invite us to participate in their upcoming Toy Run. As usual, fun was abundant and prizes galore. Lots of parties and rides are coming up soon. Be sure to check your calendar & be at the next Chapter G-2 Gathering for guaranteed FUN!
A group of determined roadrunners headed for Oklahoma to take their chance at the one arm bandits. If you look at the pictures closely you can tell who won and who lost.
13 bikes and 19 members participated in a September 15-16 Ride to the Talimena Drive. The group spent the night at the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge on Saturday night before heading back on Sunday.
Sixteen members of the chapter attended the Rally in Keller, TX. G2 won the award for most pre-registeration and Dale won the bike show for Stock 1500.
